Major Project Accomplishments In 2007 transitioned 2 bi-weekly payrolls with approximately 4,000 employees combined from an organic in-house HRIS/Payroll system to ADP Payforce. In 2009 implemented Team Time, an attendance and timekeeping system that allowed our Operations management to better control labor cost. As a part of streamlining and making a more efficient payroll process for our rapidly growing company, I led the centralization of payroll for nine of our operating companies, balancing the technical and relationship side of the transition to ensure that the payroll data was accurate, that the transition was seamless and that employees and management had a level of comfort in the new processes. Professional Experience • Oversee & assist in processing payroll for 10,000+ employees & 19 companies • Centralization & Standardization of 9 sister companies • Assisted in the implementation of ADP Software (4/07) • Assisted in the implementation of Team Time Software (1/09) • Implemented The Work Number verification system • Enter new hires as well as employee data changes • Perform & implement audits to ensure associates are paid correctly as well as setup in the system correctly • Train new managers on how to perform their payroll functions • Ensure programming is accurate for multiple facets of the payroll system such as calculation of holiday pay & vacation accruals • Ensure compliance with all payroll aspects of union contracts as well as federal and state laws • Review W2’s at year end before distribution • Lead payroll staff in all aspects of daily payroll tasks, projects, & compliance reporting • Work directly with management and human resources in resolving any discrepancies and in implementing new processes • Recruit, interview, hire payroll staff • Review & update professional & technical knowledge: for myself and my staff • Migrate acquired companies onto payroll and timekeeping software – either stand- alone payrolls or rolled into existing
