Corcoran, Minnesota

Ess Brothers and Sons, Inc. was establish in 1867 by Joseph Ess and is now in its sixth generation of ownership with Troy and Trent continuing the tradition of excellence established over 148 years ago. From Joseph’s establishing a blacksmith and wagon shop to Frank creating a foundry to Edmund and Wallace’s vision of supplying municipal castings to Tom’s business expansion, the many Ess generations have done what few men do, provide their children with a pathway for a legacy of success. Our facilities consist of approximately 35,000 square feet of warehouse, metal fabrication shop, machine shop and office space. The facilities are located on fifteen acres of land with four acres of storage for over 400 different types of municipal castings. We are now Minnesota's largest distributor of manhole, municipal, and catch basin castings. Over the years, we have broadened our metal fabrication product line which now includes ornamental railing, control structures, arbors, low profile manhole and catch basin frames, Sure-Fit tree and trench grate frames, tree guards, overflow structures, paving adjustment rings, and many more custom designed products. . We have started to diversify by supplying products designed to prevent inflow and infiltration in manholes, catch basins and joint sections. Consequently, Sealing Systems, Inc. was established in 1995 to focus on the demand for these products across the United States. In April of 1999, Sealing Systems Inc. bought the patent rights for an external seal called Infi-Shield. We also carry many products related to our castings such as erosion control, concrete and plastic grade rings, and casting seals. Here at Ess Brothers & Sons, Inc., we strive to meet all their customers' needs. "If we don't have a product in stock, we'll find it and if we can't find the product, we'll make it."
