The Skillman Foundation is a grantmaking organization established in 1960 by Rose Skillman. We have granted out more than $730 million and have served as a vocal advocate to strengthen K-12 education, afterschool programming, child-centered neighborhoods, youth and community leadership, and racial equity and justice. Today, we’re building new strategies to support Detroit youth, educators, and community to influence education policy and systems change.

The Community Foundation for Southeast Michigan (CFSEM) was established in 1984 for the betterment of the residents of Wayne, Oakland, Macomb, Monroe, Washtenaw, St. Clair and Livingston counties. Collaborated with hemophilia treatment centers and patients to ensure optimal medical treatment. Oversaw compliance with state and federal pharmacy rules and regulations.Implemented process improvements; developed shipment checklists and verification steps to promote business efficiency and optimize patient care.Monitored and controlled $2M+ inventory; inventory included specialized medications and supplies.

The Hospital Council of Northwest Ohio (HCNO) is dedicated to working in partnership to improve the health of the region's communities. HCNO is a member-driven organization that represents and advocates on behalf of its member hospitals and health systems. HCNO coordinates community health improvement efforts, including the Northwest Ohio Pathways HUB and Healthy Lucas County coalition. Additionally, HCNO coordinates disaster preparedness and community health assessments in the region and beyond.
