The Michigan Chamber of Commerce is a statewide business organization representing over 5,000 employers, trade associations and local chambers of commerce. The Michigan Chamber represents businesses of every size and type in all 83 counties of the state. The Michigan Chamber was established in 1959 to be an advocate for Michigan’s job providers in the legislative, political and legal process. It is one of only six state chambers of commerce in the nation accredited by the U.S. Chamber of Commerce and one of only four state chambers accredited with distinction. The Michigan Chamber has been voted the most effective membership lobbying in the Lansing for the last 16 years running.

The Michigan Dental Association believes: oral health is integral to overall health; in an inclusive environment that embraces diversity; that the profession of dentistry and the oral health team must be led by dentists to ensure the safety of the public; and that life-long learning is critical to excellence in patient care.

The Mackinac Center for Public Policy is a nonpartisan research and educational institute dedicated to improving the quality of life for all Michigan residents by promoting sound solutions to state and local policy questions. The Mackinac Center assists policy makers, scholars, business people, the media and the public by providing objective analysis of Michigan issues. The goal of all Center reports, commentaries and educational programs is to equip Michigan residents and other decision makers to better evaluate policy options. The Mackinac Center for Public Policy is broadening the debate on issues that has for many years been dominated by the belief that government intervention should be the standard solution. Our main initiatives focus on fiscal, labor and education policy, and we also house the Mackinac Center Legal Foundation, a public-interest law firm that uses strategic litigation and public outreach to secure the liberties of Michigan’s residents, workers, students and entrepreneurs.

The William Davidson Foundation is a private, family foundation established in 2005 to honor its founder and continue his lifelong commitment to charitable giving, advancing for future generations the economic, cultural and civic vitality of Southeast Michigan, the State of Israel, and the Jewish community.

The Ruth Mott Foundation is a private family foundation established by Ruth Mott, philanthropist and wife of automotive pioneer Charles Stewart Mott. The Ruth Mott Foundation’s mission is to advocate, stimulate, and support community vitality, and our commitment is to base the Foundation in its home community of Flint, Michigan. In 2016, the Ruth Mott Foundation shifted to a place-based focus on north Flint. At the core of this strategic focus is a commitment to support community voiced and driven priorities and plans. The Michigan Association of School Boards (MASB) provides quality educational leadership services to all Michigan boards of education, and advocates for student achievement and public education. MASB provides many services to boards of education, including school policy, legal counsel, training and professional development, labor relations, communications, advocacy and superintendent search among others.

The Michigan Townships Association is a voluntary membership association for Michigan’s 1,240 townships. We are not a governmental entity, but we are a 501(c)4 not-for-profit corporation. The services we provide to township boards is to speak on their behalf to state and federal lawmakers and regulators; to answer their questions on statutory requirements and provide solutions to issues they face; and we offer a wide variety of education programs to build knowledge and skills related to the core competencies required of a township official.

CSW catalyzes change in educational and labor market systems, policies and practices to increase economic mobility, particularly for people of color and others historically excluded from success. We focus on achieving scalable improvements in worker skills, lifelong learning, and job quality. CSW collaborates with change makers to develop strategies, identify evidence to inform strategies, build the capacity of organizations, manage initiatives, and evaluate lessons learned.
