Little People's College was founded in 1980 by two sisters, Sandy Rego and Joyce deSousa, who were public school teachers and mothers of preschool age children. Together they developed a unique curriculum which included the skills which children would need when they entered public school. The learning begins when a child steps through the door and continues throughout the day. Little People's College locations have been nationally accredited since 1992 and continue to pursue accreditation for the newest centers as they reach their first anniversary. There are currently 14 locations and the curriculum continues to be reviewed and updated annually to include the most current changes to local, state and national requirements. Our success has been a reflection of a dedicated, caring and hard-working staff who are committed to our mission ....to provide the best possible program of early education and care available--a program where children are loved and where children and families feel safe, secure and respected, enabling children to grow to their fullest potential: physically, emotionally, socially, cognitively and in language development. LearnWell is specialized and dedicated to supporting the 49% of all students who may face an underlying mental health condition—such as depression, anxiety or other mood disorders—which often manifest in self-destructive behavior, substance use, and eating disorders. In partnership with treatment facilities and school districts, we provide an integrated set of academic and mental wellness services for students and their families throughout the continuum of care. As students begin to show signs of emerging mental health needs, our psychiatric counseling teams provide therapeutic support for schools to help reduce the risk of hospitalization or other crises. When students are hospitalized, our educators provide a specialized approach to supporting the academic progress for those receiving mental health treatment. Upon discharge from the hospital, we provide the ongoing mental health counseling and one-to-one academic tutoring for students as they re-integrate back into the classroom environment.

Boys & Girls Clubs of Metro South is the preeminent youth development organization in Southeastern Massachusetts, serving more than 2,500 youth annually from nearly 50 communities at our Clubhouses in Brockton and Taunton, Camp Riverside, and community extension sites. Mission All Hands and Hearts effectively and efficiently addresses the immediate and long-term needs of communities impacted by natural disasters. We communicate directly with local leaders and community members and then deploy our unique model of engaging volunteers to enable direct impact, helping to build safer, more resilient schools, homes and infrastructure. Vision Through community and volunteer engagement, we aim to help families recover faster after natural disasters using our "smart response"​ strategy and by rebuilding in a disaster resilient way we prepare them for future disasters and, through the process, strengthen communities Our Story The lives of Co-founders Petra Nemcova and David Campbell were changed forever by the 2004 Indian Ocean Tsunami. David Campbell heard about the devastating tsunami and jumped on a plane to offer his extensive expertise gained as a former CEO of BBN Technologies, ultimately starting what is now All Hands Volunteers in 2005. Petra Nemcova herself was swept away by the tsunami and survived by clinging to a tree for eight hours. This experience led to the establishment of the Happy Hearts Fund in 2005. In the Fall of 2017, these two organizations announced the merger to form All Hands and Hearts - Smart Response.
