The Breeders'​ Cup World Championships is an annual season ending event consisting of 14 Championship thoroughbred races run over two days which offers $30 million in purses and awards. It was created and is operated by Breeders'​ Cup Limited, a company formed in 1982. From its inception in 1984 through 2016, it was a single-day event; starting in 2007, it expanded to two days. The location changes each year. All sites have been in the United States, except in 1996, when the races were at the Woodbine Racetrack in Canada. The event was created as a unique year-end championship for North American thoroughbred racing and now attracts the top international equine athletes and their connections from around the world. Nearly 200 of the globe’s most talented Thoroughbreds compete over two days to claim their right to be named Breeders’ Cup Champion. The funding for the Breeders'​ Cup World Championships is primarily through the nomination payments of thoroughbred stallions and those stallion's offspring. The Breeders'​ Cup also administrates the Breeders'​ Cup Challenge, a series of Win & You're In races which guarantee a starting spot in a corresponding Breeders'​ Cup Championship race, pays entry fees, awards travel allowances and nominator awards to nominated horses. This series of Win & You're In races takes place at racetracks across North America, Europe, Asia, Australia, South Africa and South America.

Our Mission: Cincinnati Works will partner with all willing and capable people living in poverty to assist them in advancing to economic self-sufficiency through employment. Our Vision: We will lead the effort to eliminate poverty in our community. Cincinnati Works serves two clients: those individuals in the community who are currently unemployed or underemployed and Employers who have entry level positions. The short-term goal for the unemployed is to help them stabilize in a job that pays a living wage with health benefits. The long-term goal for the underemployed is for them to earn 200% of the federal poverty rate and move to economic self-sufficiency. Economically self-sufficient people become taxpayers and productive citizens who no longer require public assistance. As a primarily privately-funded organization, we are able to serve any willing and capable job seekers who are eligible for our program. We are able to serve those who would otherwise be ineligible for other programs (e.g. men, women without dependent children and women without children). Our clients become Members of the Cincinnati Works program and receive lifetime Membership for as long as they are employed or actively seeking work. The Educational Theatre Association (EdTA) is a national nonprofit organization with approximately 135,000 student and professional members. EdTA’s mission is shaping lives through theatre education by: honoring student achievement in theatre and enriching their theatre education experience; supporting teachers by providing professional development, networking opportunities, resources, and recognition; and influencing public opinion that theatre education is essential and builds life skills. EdTA operates the International Thespian Society (ITS), an honorary organization that has inducted more than 2.3 million theatre students since its founding in 1929. EdTA also publishes Dramatics, a monthly magazine for high school theatre students, and Teaching Theatre, a quarterly journal for theatre education professionals.
