KRC is a truly unique company in the machine tool industry. Founded in 1989 by Thomas Luzak, an industrial engineer with an MBA from Syracuse University, the company fosters a strong work ethic by practicing open-book management with significant profit sharing for all employees. As the company grew, additional space was required. In 1997, KRC expanded its state-of-the-art facility to 35,000 square feet, complete with high bays, heavy floors, 15 ton, and 20 ton overhead cranes, machining capabilities, and steam cleaning and paint booths. In 2019, KRC announced a company-wide rebranding initiative. KRC Machine Tool Services, has changed to KRC Machine Tool Solutions. This milestone ushers in a new era in the history of our 30 years. The rebranding is designed to better reflect our expanded range of capabilities as we continue our efforts to be the complete machine tool solutions company. As part of the rebrand, KRC Machine Tool Solutions expanded capabilities to include multiple new product category offerings. Included in the expansion is the production of our own private label machine lines, ushering in the next generation of American-made precision machine tools. These product lines will include large and medium format gantry style machines and vertical turning lathes ranging in various sizes and configurations. KRC continues to grow, and currently employs just under 100 people. KRC is still known as the premier provider in CNC retrofitting, machine rebuilding, and machine tool repair serving all key industrial markets. Our nationwide team of service engineers performs repairs and troubleshooting, preventive maintenance and laser alignments at the customer's facility. Our expanded offerings now include a complete facility maintenance program we call Complete Maintenance Solutions.
