-Responsible for processing weekly payroll for company of approximately 100 employees, including the use of prevailing wage job rates on multiple jobs-Figure weekly payroll deductions, garnishments, child support orders and wage levy’s as directed by the courts-Process monthly, quarterly, and yearly payroll tax returns as well as Kentucky sales tax returns-Prepares prevailing wage reporting and reconciliation-Compute and prepare journal entries-Update and maintain General Ledger-Prepare cash flow statements as well as daily banking reconciliation -Responsible for month end reconciliation of multiple company bank accounts-Assist in preparation of monthly financial statements and bond reports-Process invoices, expense reports, and contract payments including AIA and time and material invoicing-Process cash receipts-Responsible for identifying and monitoring areas of financial risk or opportunity-Audit, verify, and review invoices including auditing for sales tax and/or use tax liabilities.-Process and distribute year-end reports, W-2’s and 1099’s-Responsible for obtaining all new-hire paperwork and new hire process-Work with HR Manager to set up company events and oversee employee incentive programs-Assist in managing and engaging our employee social media groups
