At the Midlands Humane Society, I provide recruiting, onboarding, appreciation, and training for our team of 130 volunteers and foster parents. Volunteer retention is at a steady 90%, with new volunteers joining consistently through the 4-8 orientations that I lead every month.- Daily management of schedules and records for volunteers and foster parents - Secured, trained, and directed 40 volunteers for the annual gala which raised $203,000 in donations- Designed and distributed volunteer “Weekly Peek” newsletter and other essential communications- Consistent and accurate gathering of volunteer/foster data for report to the Executive Director- Collaborated closely with the Director of Operations to design and deliver high-quality social media content- Organization of 2-4 volunteer events every month for external groups including schools and businesses- Drafted, edited, finalized, and implemented Foster and Enrichment Training Manuals
