This program serves as an alternative to expulsion for students struggling with emotional, learning and behavioral issues. A non-traditional, individualized approach to academics allow students to have their needs met and stay on track with their academic goals for successful completion. Teachers are trained to support academic and behavioral/social/emotional issues that may arise to give children/adolescents the skills necessary to cope successfully beyond the classroom. Siouxland Family Community Center (Dakota City, NE) A Community Center program that provides an emergency food supply, interpretation services and a liason to other programs and agencies that provide services needed by those in crisis or high need for the family or individual. This leads them on the path to long term stability and successful living within their community. Services are priced at low cost in comparison to the market average for translation.

Opportunities Unlimited (OU) is a nationally accredited, non-profit organization rooted in the mission of “Maximizing Personal Potential Through Dignified and Purposeful Living."​ OU provides provides residential rehabilitation, nursing, and therapeutic services to individuals who have sustained a brain injury, spinal cord injury, and/or other physical disability. The Opportunities Unlimited campus, which is located on the north side of Sioux City, consists of eleven residential homes for the individuals we serve as well as a therapy and community center. Our center serves as a hub for therapeutic services such as physical and occupational therapy, exercise therapy, cognitive and speech therapy, and employment services training. It also provides a space for the surrounding community to integrate with the individuals we serve and to use our facility for meetings and recreational activities. OU also provides Home and Community Based Services to children and adults with special needs. These services include skill building and respite services and are offered at the Opportunities Unlimited Center, out in the community, or in the privacy of the individual’s home. OU, through its Employment Services Department, provides support to individuals in a vocational setting through our certified job coaches. Upon completion of a comprehensive assessment, outcome goals are established and focus is placed on the individual and the programs and services to reach these identified goals.
