Peoples Trust and Savings Bank is the hometown bank with longstanding ties to the community, big enough to provide the resources and banking services our customers need and want, yet small enough to care about each customer. We're a "Main Street" bank, not a Wall Street financial institution, so we provide personalized customer service and build quality relationships. We listen. We collaborate. And we get things done. Together. Because "trust" isn't just part of our name, it's what we strive for every day. In a world where most financial institutions present themselves as everything to everybody, we've taken a different path. Being in business for over one hundred years teaches us that we should not act as sales people hawking our wares at discount prices, but as advisers and service providers who solve problems and create possibilities for our customers. Our goal is not to become the biggest - our goal is to continuously improve our abilities and our services to our friend and neighbors. OUR MISSION TO DELIVER EXCEPTIONAL CUSTOMER SERVICE AND SUPPORT OUR COMMUNITY WITH DEDICATED INVOLVEMENT.

At Citizens, I started as the Head Bookkeeper. Over time, I acquired more responsibilities which included almost everything that was not member/customer facing including debit/credit, ATM, computer operations, insurance, payroll, budgeting, ALM, compliance, etc. When I left I was the Executive Vice President reporting to directly to the CEO. The reason I left CCCU was due to be fired. I was always interested in owning my own business so I put in an offer to purchase a local photography store and the offer was accepted. I was fired because the CEO felt that by owning a business, I would be sending the wrong impression to the rest of the employees. Looking back, the date I was fired was the best day of my life because it opened up the opportunity that Charlie Grossklaus at RCU gave me. By the way, I never ended up buying the photography store because my loan application was denied by RCU!!! How ironic!
