Goodwill Industries, Inc., Serving Eastern Nebraska and Southwest Iowa, has been a leader in helping people fulfill their dreams through work since 1933. Our mission is to train and employ people with disabilities and others who may be at a competitive disadvantage in the job market. We do this by selling value-priced merchandise at 17 convenient locations in Omaha, Bellevue, Papillion, Fremont, Blair, Gretna and Council Bluffs. Although many people know Goodwill as a place to donate used clothing and household items, they may not realize that their donations sold in our retail stores fund programs that give thousands of formerly unemployed individuals the opportunity to earn a living and the chance to succeed in life. The Boys & Girls Clubs of the Midlands (BGCM) is one of the largest youth-serving agencies in the Omaha metropolitan area. BGCM is an out of school, youth-serving agency. These opportunities are led by professional, positive role models that make a lifelong impact in the lives of those we serve. It is our mission to inspire and enable all young people, especially those who need us most, to realize their full potential as productive, responsible, healthy and caring members of society. We currently operate 13 Clubs in the metro Omaha and Southwest Iowa area, in addition to Camp Nakomis, a summer camp that provides a positive, challenging outdoor experience to the youth within our community. Historically, BGCM has purposefully located Clubs in areas of high need in order to have the greatest impact on the lives of at-risk youth. Currently, we serve over 7,000 children and teens.

Child Saving Institute (CSI) was founded in 1892 and has been dedicated to the needs of children and families in the greater Omaha area for over 131 years. The Purpose is "Champion what's best for each child and family." The Promise is "With Heart & Humanity." The Values are "Humanity and Perseverance for Growth." CSI's programming is diverse, but so are the needs of today's children and youth. Services address the prevention, intervention and healing from child abuse, neglect, and abandonment. Thanks to the generosity of many donors, annually the organization serves over 3,000 kids and families each year.

Open Door Mission is a Gospel Rescue Mission committed to breaking the cycle of homelessness and poverty. Each day Open Door Mission’s campus offers 917 safe shelter beds to homeless men, women and children, serves over 3,500 nutritious meals and provides preventive measures to more than 275 people living in poverty. To meet the basic physical needs of the hungry and homeless, the Open Door Mission’s day facility services provide free transportation from the downtown area to Open Door Mission and Lydia House. Open Door Mission offers life-changing programs for those recovering from life-altering addictions and abuse to break the cycle of homelessness and poverty.

Vodec is a private, nonprofit 501(c)(3) corporation founded in 1968 in Council Bluffs, Iowa, by a group of parents, teachers and elected officials who wanted a community-based work program for their loved ones. Our mission is to provide services to persons with disabilities in order that those persons may live, work and participate in the community in the least restrictive environment to achieve their full potential. When we think about our community, we imagine one that is safe, healthy, successful and connected. That’s why Completely KIDS has made it our mission to empower kids and families with the skills necessary to break the cycle of poverty and overcome barriers to their success. Each year, we serve more than 2,000 Omaha-area kids, primarily between the ages of 4 and 14, and their families in working toward this mission. Our work takes place before and after the school day with our kids. We provide a safe, academically supportive and enriching environment at nine OPS elementary and middle schools, a parochial school, three homeless shelters, a community organization, and our building. We also offer expanded services to the families of our kids in the form of literacy, educational support, mental health services and referrals to other agencies as needed. The WCA saves hundreds of lives each year. It is the go-to place for anyone in the Omaha area who is experiencing domestic violence, sexual assault, stalking, or human trafficking. Our free, high-quality services address our clients'​ immediate safety needs and help them to grow into independence over time. We provide community education and training that includes educational presentations for area schools, businesses, agencies and other community groups and organizations. It also includes providing domestic violence training seminars for clergy, law enforcement, medical professionals and other professionals.

Eastern Nebraska Community Action Partnership (ENCAP) is a non-profit community based organization that has been providing social and human services to people facing poverty since 1965. We are dedicated to providing programming that meets community needs, that responds to the voices of the low-income community, and that demonstrates continuous quality improvement. Our mission guides all that we do: "ENCAP reduces the power of poverty in Eastern Nebraska through direct service and results-driven partnerships." These initiatives include emergency rent & utility assistance; senior wellness; transportation; and the Bellevue Food Pantry.
