Duties included: Arranging & assisting bereaved families with funeral services arrangements and burials. Using office skills to perform day to day operations of a funeral home such as: filing necessary permits, dealing with third party vendors, and also completing death and insurance claims. Making sure all forms, such as accounting, medical, legal, insurance, etc. are complete.Use of the components of the computer to use Funeral Director Software, or components of Microsoft Office (Ex. Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Publisher).
