The Boards of Directors of Rauch, Inc. and Blue River Services, Inc., locally based non-profit organizations serving their communities for over 60 years each, have formed a strategic alliance in an effort to obtain operational efficiencies and strengthen both agencies. This alliance also ensures the continued provision of an array of quality support services to individuals with disabilities and communities in 30 counties in Southern Indiana. In this alliance, Rauch, Inc. and Blue River Services, Inc. continue to provide their current services in existing locations with their current staff members while maintaining their present-day identities. RBR Alliance, Inc. has been created as a 501(c)3 non-profit corporation that serves as an umbrella organization for, and provides administrative, financial, development, human resources and IT support to both agencies. Dan Lowe, current CEO of Blue River Services, has been selected to serve as the CEO of RBR Alliance, Inc. with Bettye Dunham, CEO of Rauch retired as of August of 2019. The Board for RBR Alliance, Inc. consists of appointments from existing Rauch and Blue River Board members at the time of the formation of the Alliance.

Founded in 1986, Zoom Group is a 501 (c)(3) charitable organization that has been providing support for individuals with disabilities for over 37 years. Zoom Group’s mission is to assist persons with disabilities to explore, create, and realize their journey. Our Inspiration In 1952, concerned advocates for individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities founded The Council on Developmental Disabilities. The council, which still exists today, along with Seven County Services, in 1986, established Louisville Diversified Services, known today as Zoom Group. Zoom Group was created to provide individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities opportunities to work and engage socially in their community. The need, recognized by many students graduating from high school, finding themselves without the chance to continue community-based activities, employment, or other programs, was the inspiration. From this inspiration, Zoom Group incorporated and formed several small-based activity programs while concurrently developing employment opportunities to provide vocational training and employment. Job placement and coaching services naturally followed. TODAY, Zoom Group thrives, providing support for nearly 250 individuals through its many programs. The Institute for Shelter Care serves as a research, training and equipping entity to help establish new shelter programs, stabilize and improve current programs, and facilitate qualified research to advance national standards of care and best practices.

Since 1984, CASA of the River Region has trained and paired volunteers to be the voice for abused and neglected children in Family Court. CASA serves children in Jefferson, Henry, Oldham, Shelby, Spencer, and Trimble counties. There are over 3,800 children in Family Court annually in CASA’s six-county service area. We believe children need at least one caring, consistent adult to look out for their safety and nurture their self-worth. CASA is here to ensure vulnerable children’s voices are heard.

We are a play-based learning facility, providing care for children aged 6 weeks to 5 years old, as well as out of school care for children up to 12 years old. The goal of our center is to provide a safe and comfortable space for your child, and a community which helps and supports each other each and every day.
