Oversee operations of the Upward Bound, Upward Bound Math and Science and Talent Search programs maintaining compliance with government and grant regulations.
Manage employees of three programs to meet or exceed grant-mandated outcomes such as 1200 total students enrolled or 75% of UB students must have a B average or higher academically.
Analyze monthly, quarterly and annual performance reviews for team members to identify strategies and produce new strategies that should be implemented.
Interview prospective candidates for teacher, advisor, and specialists positions for the operations of the agency and the academic interests of all students.
Organize and facilitate developmental events for students utilizing minority professionals to focus on leadership, financial literacy, and perseverance.
Represent the agency at forums, workshops, networking events, and job fairs to maintain and expand the agency's presence in the community.
Organize and supervise college trips nationwide with students numbering between 40 and 70 each excursion.
