As a Senior Associate, my responsibilities were nearly company-wide, from project manager to mentor, and project engineer to detailer. I manage employees with the goal to push them past their own boundaries and develop their own creative way of coming up with solutions to complex problems. The projects I managed typically varied between high-end custom residential and mid-size commercial projects, although, I have worked on the occasional mid-rise multi-family and airport project as well. As a project manager, my title typically includes lead engineer. My experiences there have enabled me to grow significantly, both professionally and personally, and set a very solid foundation for my role as a structural engineer. For a more traditional approach to my experiences at Riverstone, they are listed below:• Mentor• Project Manager• Structural design including wood framing, steel framing & moment frames, concrete and masonry design & detailing construction.• Oversee all BIM operations and verify integrity of 3D model• IFC import & Export / manipulation• Concrete / masonry design – in-plane / out of plane / pier • Construction document assembly• Structural / architectural drafting• Shop drawing review / detail• Structural design, detailing and analysis• Structural calculation packages• Business to business, business to client relations• Create structural 3D object libraries• Setup detail library and training manual• Develop & maintain drawing standards for use in all projects
