The Association of Universities for Research in Astronomy (AURA) is a consortium of 47 US institutions and 3 international affiliates that operates world-class astronomical observatories for the National Science Foundation and NASA. AURA’s role is to establish, nurture, and promote public observatories and facilities that advance innovative astronomical research. In addition, AURA is deeply committed to public and educational outreach, and to diversity throughout the astronomical and scientific workforce. AURA carries out its role through its astronomical facilities. AURA is responsible for the successful management and operation of its three centers: NSF’s National Optical-Infrared Astronomy Research Laboratory (NOIRLab); the National Solar Observatory (NSO); and the Space Telescope Science Institute (STScI).

Hawaiʻi Preparatory Academy, founded in 1949, is an independent co-educational school providing a full range of opportunities for students from kindergarten through grade 12. Our boarding program admits students in grades 9 through 12. The school has two campuses in the town of Waimea (Kamuela) on the island of Hawaiʻi. The Lower and Middle Schools are located on nine acres in the heart of Hawaiʻi's ranching country, while the Upper School is located just two miles away on a 200-acre campus at the foot of the Kohala Mountains.

The University of Hawaiʻi Foundation was established in 1955 to encourage private support for the University of Hawaiʻi. Today, it is the central fundraising organization for the UH System providing a range of professional fundraising services to all 10 UH campuses, in addition to managing more than 3,400 gift accounts for the benefit of the university and its students. The UH Foundation is a private, institutionally related corporation designated as a 501(c)(3) organization by the Internal Revenue Service. It is a legally separate entity from the University of Hawaiʻi, the UH Alumni Association, and all other UH affiliates. However, the Foundation works closely with these organizations as well as with others in the community exclusively for the benefit of the university.

Le Jardin Academy is a 501(c)(3) Hawai’i nonprofit organization and Hawai’i’s only Pre-Kindergarten through Grade 12 International Baccalaureate (IB) World Continuum School. Hanahau'oli School is an independent elementary school founded in 1918 by George and Sophie Cooke that practices progressive education and honors childhood.
