Lewis Primary Health Care Center was founded in 1999 by the leadership of Union Mission, Inc., concerned with addressing the healthcare issue of homeless people. JCLPHCC provided primary health care services under the auspices of Union Mission, Inc. from August 1999 until December 2010. In January 2011, JCLPHCC was established as an independent organization.
