The corporation evolved from a meeting of 30 consumer leaders held in Tucker, Georgia in October of 1990. The organization is now composed of over 3,000 members around the state of Georgia. Governed by a board of consumers, GMHCN is funded by grants, contracts, donations and membership fees. We host one of the largest statewide annual consumer conferences in the nation.
