The goal at ElderSource is to continue to serving our seniors, adults with seven county service area with such programs as the Aging and Disability Resource Center HelpLine, adults with disabilities, Veterans, the Mobile Resource Center, Elder Abuse Prevention, SNAP Nutrition Program, Transportation Services, LGBT Elders, Care Transitions Coaching, mental health services and so much more! You can help us ensure that seniors and their caregivers have support, access to care and the resources they need to live life to its fullest. We reach out to more than 12,000 people each year to people in our seven county service area including: Baker, Clay, Duval, Flagler, Nassau, St. Johns and Volusia counties. The programs and activities of ElderSource are funded by federal, state and local grants as well as private donations and endowments. The mission of ElderSource is to empower individuals to age with independence and dignity by providing leadership, direction, advocacy and support for a comprehensive, coordinated continuum of care. A not-for-profit organization, we are funded mainly by Downtown’s commercial property owners through a self-assessment and are governed by a large board of directors representing diverse Downtown stakeholders. Our work represents a strong public-private partnership with the City of Jacksonville and its Downtown Investment Authority.
