Aging is inevitable. We can choose to age alone and isolated from friends, family, even the world. Or we can choose to age with dignity and independence with friends, family and our communities. The goal at ElderSource is to continue to serving our seniors, adults with seven county service area with such programs as the Aging and Disability Resource Center HelpLine, adults with disabilities, Veterans, the Mobile Resource Center, Elder Abuse Prevention, SNAP Nutrition Program, Transportation Services, LGBT Elders, Care Transitions Coaching, mental health services and so much more! You can help us ensure that seniors and their caregivers have support, access to care and the resources they need to live life to its fullest. We reach out to more than 12,000 people each year to people in our seven county service area including: Baker, Clay, Duval, Flagler, Nassau, St. Johns and Volusia counties. The programs and activities of ElderSource are funded by federal, state and local grants as well as private donations and endowments. The mission of ElderSource is to empower individuals to age with independence and dignity by providing leadership, direction, advocacy and support for a comprehensive, coordinated continuum of care. Girl Scouts of Gateway Council, Inc. serves over 13,000 girls across North Florida, from the Gulf of Mexico to the Atlantic Ocean. In Northeast Florida, too many babies die from preventable causes and lack of health services. The Healthy Start Coalition leads the community effort to reduce infant death and improve the health of children, childbearing women, fathers and their families in Northeast Florida.

The North Florida Council serves approximately 7,500 youth in 17 counties in Northeast Florida through dedicated service and leadership of approximately 4,000 adult volunteers. Scouting is completely funded by the generosity of those that believe in its mission.

Formed in 2000, we are the 90-block Business Improvement District (BID) for Downtown Jacksonville. A not-for-profit organization, we are funded mainly by Downtown’s commercial property owners through a self-assessment and are governed by a large board of directors representing diverse Downtown stakeholders. Our work represents a strong public-private partnership with the City of Jacksonville and its Downtown Investment Authority.

Northeast Florida AIDS Network (NFAN) is a regional community-based organization responsible for the planning and coordination of HIV/AIDS services in northeast Florida. NFAN goals include: preventing the spread of HIV, the virus which causes AIDS; caring for individuals living with HIV/AIDS and their families; advocating on behalf of consumers of HIV/AIDS services.
