The Orange Bowl is a 370-member, primarily-volunteer non-profit sports organization that promotes and serves the South Florida community. With its primary mission since being created in 1935 to bring tourism to South Florida through an annual football game and events, it has also maintained a legacy of charitable contributions and community outreach. Orange Bowl community outreach efforts are comprised of four pillars: youth sports, fundraising and community events, academic programs and scholarships, and legacy gifts. The Orange Bowl features a year-round schedule of events culminating with the Capital One Orange Bowl on Jan. 2, 2021. The Alliance for Aging, Inc., a private, not-for-profit agency, serves the most vulnerable of our population... the elderly, for whom time has been both a blessing and a challenge. Designated as the area agency on aging in 1988, we provide comprehensive information and access to quality services for older adults and their families in Miami-Dade and Monroe Counties by funding home and community-based services that help keep people at home and out of nursing homes. While there are programs in place, it is not nearly enough and we need corporate and individuals to help us to achieve our mission and our goals.

Mission Statement To provide the resources, advocacy, leadership, coordination and oversight for early care and education from birth to school-age and to support access to school-age care to ensure children's success in school. Vision Statement It is the Early Learning Coalition of Broward County, Inc.'s vision that all children in Broward County will enter kindergarten socially, emotionally, physically, cognitively and behaviorally ready to learn and families will have comprehensive early care and education services readily available to them in order to be stable and strong. Background Since 2000, following the ratification of Florida Statute 411.01, the Early Learning Coalition of Broward County, Inc. (formerly Broward County School Readiness Coalition, Inc.) has been dedicated to the implementation of an integrated, high-quality, seamless early care and education service delivery system for children. The Coalition is accountable for assessing the early care and educational resources available in Broward County as well as developing local plans to address identified needs. The Coalition’s role is to develop and administer a comprehensive school readiness program that prepares children to succeed in school and in life, as described in the Local School Readiness Coalition Plan as approved by the Office of Early Learning. This in an ongoing process that involves building on existing services, working in cooperation with other programs for young children and coordinating and integrating program funding and services to achieve efficiency, accountability and full effectiveness. The Coalition receives the majority of its funding directly from Florida's Office of Early Learning. Some funds are then awarded to community organizations and service providers to perform customer services. The Coalition touches the lives of thousands of Broward County children and families. While funding does not cover all of the identified unmet needs, we are constantly looking for innovative, additional funding sources. The Coalition strives to use all of its resources in the most effective and efficient manner possible.

Make-A-Wish® Southern Florida is part of the world’s largest and most well-established wish-granting organization. Together, we create life-changing wishes for children with critical illnesses. We have granted more than 11,000 life-changing wishes since 1983 for children who have critical illnesses. It aims to grant a wish for every medically-eligible child in its territory. Wish kids most often ‘wish to be’ (something), ‘wish to meet’ (someone), ‘wish to go’ (somewhere), or ‘wish to have’ (something) and the nonprofit organization makes this happen for the child and his/her entire family at no cost or obligation.
