Mission Statement The purpose of the Early Learning Coalition of Pasco and Hernando Counties, Inc. is to prepare children in our counties to enter and succeed in school. The Coalition helps low to moderate income families receive assistance through the School Readiness (subsidized child care) program. Eligible families may earn up to 150 percent of the Federal Poverty Guidelines and must be either working or in school full-time. The Coalition also enrolls children in the Voluntary Pre-Kindergarten (VPK) program, free for every Florida 4 year old who is 4 years of age on or before September 1st of the program year.
