The Straz Center began as a dream by visionary citizens of Tampa who persevered to bring to reality one of the finest performing arts centers in the nation. It is many things to many people and it’s more than just a building, more than just a performing arts center. It is a presenter, a producer, an educator, a community partner and an economic engine for the Tampa Bay area. It is a cornerstone of the Tampa Bay community. The Straz Center creates a regional economic impact of more than $100 million each year. To our local economy it can mean more tourists staying in hotels, eating in restaurants, shopping in stores and visiting other venues when they are here. At both the local and national level, it provides access to more than 700,000 people of all ages, abilities and cultures each year. For over 70 years, the Sarasota Orchestra has been entertaining music lovers from around the region, and visitors from around the world. The 80-member Orchestra performs more than 100 classical, pops and family concerts each year, and thrives as the oldest continuing orchestra in the state of Florida. In 2008 the organization unveiled a new name and logo with a package that offers new series, new concerts and a whole new way to experience live music, along with the timeless classics. An arts leader in the community, the Sarasota Orchestra has a dual mission dedicated to exquisite performance and first-class musical education. The Sarasota Orchestra's acclaimed music education program includes the 60-year-old Youth Orchestra, which features five ensembles – the most advanced of which, The Youth Philharmonic, made its Carnegie Hall debut in 2008. The Sarasota Orchestra also offers music lessons for students of all ages and abilities, sponsors multiple community outreach programs and is the parent program of the Sarasota Music Festival.

The Arc Jacksonville has served our community’s citizens with intellectual and developmental disabilities since 1965. The organization began within a grassroots movement to provide educational opportunities for special needs persons who were not well-served by the public education system. Over the decades, The Arc program has evolved and expanded to offer a wide range of services today within community settings. Today The Arc has an annual operating budget of $7.6 million, serves approximately 400 individuals daily and provides employment for approximately 130 staff members as well as service opportunities for 24 AmeriCorps and 6 VISTA members. Services are rendered from three main locations and five group homes. In addition to the direct services provided through our programs, The Arc Jacksonville serves as a source of information and support for the entire Northeast Florida area through its advocacy program, called A.S.K. (Advocacy, Support and Knowledge).

Girl Scouting builds girls of courage, confidence, and character who make the world a better place. Girl Scouts of West Central Florida proudly serves over 18,000 members in Citrus, Hernando, Hillsborough, Marion, Pasco, Pinellas, Polk and Sumter counties. Tampa Bay Watch is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization dedicated to the protection and restoration of the Tampa Bay estuary through scientific and educational programs. Established in 1993, Tampa Bay Watch performs a variety of habitat restoration and protection activities throughout the year, utilizing thousands of volunteers to help the bay recover from its environmental problems. Individuals of all ages from community groups, scout troops, schools and others participate in salt marsh plantings, storm drain markings, oyster bar creation, coastal cleanups, and wildlife protection each year, demonstrating environmental stewardship in its purest form.

Our mission is to support and enrich the continuity of Jewish life and values in our community, in Israel, and worldwide. The Tampa JCC & Federation is a unifying force for Jewish community-building and philanthropy. The two organizations were brought together 17 years ago after operating independently for more than 70 years. We work to strengthen family life, promote the health, education and welfare of our membership and our community, and to ensure for ourselves and future generations, Jewish continuity and identification with Jewish values, culture and heritage. We work to enrich the quality of Jewish life in Tampa by bringing comfort and hope to the vulnerable and by investing in programs that build Jewish knowledge, identity and ensuring the next generation of Jews. Our Annual Campaign raises millions of dollars each year to fund agencies locally — including Jewish day schools, synagogue religious schools and the Tampa Jewish Community Center, as well as numerous social-service programs to care for those in need in Tampa. One of the main goals of the Tampa Jewish Community Center and Federation is to raise, collect and allocate funds from the community for the support of those services and to preserve a vibrant Jewish life in the United States, Israel and throughout the world.
