Families and individuals partner with Habitat Orlando & Osceola to purchase homes with an affordable mortgage. Through Face the Housing Crisis™ and the Cornerstone Housing™ Framework, Habitat Orlando & Osceola is working with community partners to address the wicked problem of the affordable housing crisis in Central Florida and its detrimental effects on community priorities. Founded in 1986, Habitat Orlando & Osceola has built, rehabbed or repaired over 850 homes throughout Central Florida. The nonprofit has achieved recognition as one of the 40 “top producers” out of over 1,100 Habitat for Humanity International affiliates working in communities throughout the United States and in more than 70 countries and is a HUD-certified local Housing Counseling Agency.

It is the mission of the Boy Scouts of America to prepare young people to make ethical and moral choices over their lifetime by instilling in them the values of the Scout Oath and Law. Central Florida Council provides youth development to boys age 6 through 17 in our Boy Scout program. Also, we serve teenagers 14 through 20 in our Venturing and Explorer program. Central Florida Council operates Learning for Life program in the Orange County Schools providing Character Building. Central Florida Council provides services to the following seven counties: Orange; Seminole; Osceola; Brevard; Volusia; Flagler and Lake Counties.

Anthropocene Alliance (A2) is the nation’s largest coalition of frontline communities fighting for climate and environmental justice. We represent more than 400 member-communities in all U.S. states and territories. They are in Detroit, Chicago, New Orleans, and New York, but also in small and mid-sized towns including La Playa, Puerto Rico; Miami, Oklahoma; and Koyukuk, Alaska. The breadth and depth of our interventions make us distinct in the environmental movement. We work to educate, organize and support -- with money, grant management and other technical assistance -- grassroots leaders and communities who are challenging the corporate greed and governmental inertia that is imperiling our environment and lives.
