For over 90 years, LAJF has been committed to helping young people grow intellectually, ethically, and globally. We do this by operating Camp Rising Sun, our full-scholarship, summer leadership program for teenagers from more than 25 different countries and 10 U.S. states. Each summer, 60 young men and 60 young women practice leadership skills in a supportive community of peers and counselors. FaithActs for Education is a grassroots organizing nonprofit based in Bridgeport, Connecticut. We exist to help faith leaders and their congregations step outside their place of worship to advocate for improved educational opportunities for their own children and the children of Bridgeport. Founded in October of 2014, our organizing model centers around two key activities: leveraging the power of faith leaders within their community, and directly engaging parents, grandparents, cousins, aunts, uncles – folks with a direct stake in their child's education.

The Catwalk Art Residency is an awarded residency in Hudson Valley, New York, that hosts artists and writers from many genres. I was awarded a residency in September 2022 where I worked on a series of poems for a current manuscript.
