The National Center for Higher Education Management Systems (NCHEMS) is a nonprofit organization whose mission is to improve strategic decision making in higher education for states and institutions in the United States and abroad. Since 1969, NCHEMS has been a national leader in converting data into useful information that supports strategic decision-making. NELI is a non-profit continuing legal education organization that conducts employment law seminars, teleconferences and webinars as a means of providing continuing legal education (CLE) for employment and labor attorneys and continuing professional education (CEU/CPE) for human resource and other professionals in the field. We also offer related services, including in-house training and consulting and testifying expert witness services, all of which meet the needs of the employment law and human resource professions representing business, industry, government, labor and other publicly and privately formed organizations. The Colorado Youth Corps Association (CYCA) is a statewide coalition of ten accredited youth conservation corps that engage and train youth, young adults, and military veterans on land, water and energy conservation projects. Youth corps is a proven strategy for engaging young people in service to their communities and stewardship of their environment while cultivating valuable skills to meet the challenges of the 21st century. CYCA’s mission is to advance the Colorado youth conservation corps movement. CYCA creates opportunities for young people to participate in high-quality youth corps statewide by providing independently operating youth conservation corps with technical assistance and resource development services. CYCA helps to garner private, federal and state fee-for-service and grant funds and manages an accreditation program to assure uniform principles and practices across all the youth corps programs. Mission: To provide progressive outdoor sports opportunities to improve quality of life for children, adults and veterans with physical disabilities and their families. History: Adaptive Adventures was founded in 1999 by two individuals with physical disabilities. They saw a need for adventure and sport opportunities outside of competitive adaptive sports for people with physical disabilities. Adaptive Adventures has served over 100,000 participants and their families from all 50 states. Overview: Adaptive Adventures main office is located in Lakewood, Colorado with a satellite office in Elk Grove Village, Illinois. Adaptive Adventures provides ongoing programs, camps and clinics in cycling, climbing, kayaking, paddleboarding, skiing, waterskiing, wakeboarding, sailing, scuba, rafting and dragon boat racing. Adaptive Adventures offers a unique mobile program. Unlike site based adaptive sports programs, Adaptive Adventures travels the country with 14 trailers filled with adaptive equipment providing programs to underserved areas of the country. Adaptive Adventures provides programs in 23 states, collaborating with over 80 community partners across the country including; rehab hospitals, park districts, VA medical centers, military hospitals, veteran service organizations, and other adaptive sport programs. We believe in FREEDOM through Mobility for our participants and in our program structure. Adaptive Adventures programming is offered to participants and their families free of charge or significantly subsidized. Adaptive Adventures believes cost should never be a barrier to someone's participation in quality outdoor adaptive sport opportunities.
