The Winchester Mystery House is a gargantuan 160 room Victorian Mansion that was built by Sarah Winchester, heiress of the Winchester Rifle fortune. Haunted by Winchester Rifle victims, Mrs. Winchester built the massive home in San Jose, CA. Come tour the Winchester Mystery House and be intrigued by this truly American tale with its combination of the beautiful and the bizarre!

Creative Growth Art Center, Oakland CA serves artists with intellectual/developmental and concurrent physical disabilities, providing a professional studio environment for artistic development and gallery exhibition and representation. Artwork fostered in this unique environment is included in prominent collections and museums worldwide. The Creative Growth Studio provides a professional art atmosphere to over 140 artists in a variety of media including fiber arts, drawing, painting, wood, ceramics, printmaking, and digital arts. Creative Growth's gallery is the world’s oldest professional exhibition space dedicated to the artwork made by artists with disabilities. Creative Growth presents seven exhibitions annually in our Oakland gallery, in addition to a roster of annual exhibits, projects, and art fairs around the globe. Creative Growth is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization.

Our mission: Connect people with wildlife to inspire responsibility and respect for the world we share. Lindsay Wildlife Experience saves animals lives, teaches and inspires children and adults through up-close-and personal encounters with live wild animals, and strengthens the connection between people and the natural world. Lindsay Wildlife Rehabilitation Hospital the oldest and largest rehabilitation centers in the United States. Our team of veterinarians, staff, and volunteers treats more than 5,500 injured and orphaned wild animals each year. The hospital is a pioneer in wildlife rehabilitation. Because wildlife does not have medical insurance, the hospital relies on donations to provide this life-saving work. Our education programs and interactive exhibit hall create meaningful opportunities to learn about the natural world and live in harmony with wildlife. Listen to the cry of a red-tailed hawk, go eye-to-eye with an opossum and watch a great horned owl eat lunch. More than 50 species of live, non-releasable, native California animals are on exhibit.

Electric Railroaders Association (ERA) is a non-profit educational organization consisting of anyone interested in the history and progress of electric railways. The ERA was founded August 15, 1934 by Edwin Jay (E.J.) Quinby, 1894–1981. Benefits of ERA membership include monthly meetings, regional trips, annual conventions, biennial international tours, monthly newsletters and a yearly magazine. Monthly Meetings Anyone interested in electric railways may view our monthly Zoom meetings to see photo, movie and video presentations by well-known transit writers and photographers. The meetings take place on the third Friday of each month. Regional Trips The ERA is famous for its exciting trips and events. Recent events included the Connecticut Day Trip and the Newark Light Rail Trip. Annual Conventions All ERA members are invited to attend our annual conventions, held each year in a North American city with electric rail operations. Past conventions have been held in El Paso, San Francisco and New Orleans. Our 2022 convention will be held in San Diego. International Tours Every even-numbered year, the ERA conducts a multi-week tour of urban, rural and interurban traction systems in a foreign country. Previous tours have been conducted to Southern Germany, Spain and Japan. Our 2022 international tour will be held in Greece. Monthly Newsletter All ERA members receive monthly issues of The Bulletin. Each issue consists of news primarily about New York-area transit, with additional reporting devoted to national and international systems. Annual Magazine All ERA members receive an annual issue of Headlights, America’s premier journal dedicated to light rail transit, subways, interurbans, electric railroads and other forms of electric transportation around the world. Each full color, ad-free issue is packed with in-depth coverage contributed by leading writers and photographers in the transit field.
