The North American Blueberry Council (NABC) is a key advocate for the success and profitability of the highbush blueberry industry. As such, the NABC assists its membership in addressing issues regarding market access; provides counsel in the development of standards for quality and food safety; and serves as a source for helping to manage and communicate industry issues as a voice for the North American highbush industry. Our mission is to encourage cooperation among the international blueberry community and in doing so the NABC provides its members with timely, market relevant information such as seasonal crop reports, monthly cold storage figures and yearly production data, as well as background, education and relevant information related to good industry practices. As an industry advocate, the NABC also represents and serves as a voice for members of the North American highbush blueberry industry in legislative and political concerns.

Next Generation Foods was established in 2006 to market and distribute locally grown foods in Northern California. We seek to shorten the supply chain, increase traceability and transparency of the local food system and promote foods grown by local family farms. Next Generation Foods primarily distributes bulk quantities of each of our products to restaurants and retail accounts in Northern California. Thankfully, most of our products are also available in packaging suitable for household use and are available for purchase by individual customers in our online store. We take great care to represent items that are grown using organic and sustainable farming practices by local family farmers.

Climate change, deforestation, forced labor and many other issues are putting the world’s chocolate supply at risk of collapse. The time is now to build a cleaner and better future of food. We are developing the newest plant cell culturing technologies in order to create a new supply of chocolate that is scalable, sustainable and better for the planet.
