Perform month end related tasks- including bonus and commission calculations, posting journal entries, submitting financial statements, managing and reconciling accruals
File returns, taxes, and licenses
Process 1099 and 1096 forms
Complete all service agreements company-wide
Perform analyses of proposed pay plans
Create and update auto-calculating templates for complex pay plans
Oversee the HR and Payroll Department
Participate in yearly risk, internal, and insurance audits
Manage inter-company calculations, postings and payments
Cross-train Business Office personnel
Construct and implement new processes to improve efficiency throughout the company
Participate in acquiring or opening new branches and stores
Budget, plan, and execute company events and gifts
