The Richard Nixon Foundation is a privately supported, non-profit institution dedicated to educating the public about the life, legacy, and times of the Thirty-Seventh President. Through unique exhibits and events the Nixon Foundation helps visitors discover the many surprising and unexpected accomplishments of the 37th president and the impact they have on our world today. The Foundation supports exhibits and programs on the nine acre Richard Nixon Presidential Library and Museum. As a performing arts center for public affairs, the Foundation’s year-round programming features national policy conferences, study groups, town meetings, school editor forums, and a continual schedule of distinguished speakers and authors from government, politics, the media, and public affairs. The Presidential Library is home to more than 42 million pages of documentation and material from Richard Nixon’s life in politics, as well as a nationally recognized research center, giving students and scholars the opportunity to study RN’s legacy and historic presidency.

Formerly known as the San Diego Museum of Man, the Museum of Us is an anthropology museum with a mission to inspire human connections by exploring the human experience. Centered on core anthropological values such as compassion, sitting in generosity rather than judgment, and love for all humanity, the Museum of Us takes a different approach from the traditional authoritative “museum voice." The 501(c)(3) non-profit was founded in Balboa Park in 1915 and is located in the iconic California Building and Tower. Through original, interactive exhibits visitors discover what it means to be human - whether it's exploring how beer shaped civilizations, connecting with strangers over shared secrets, or discovering who cannibals really are (could you be one?).

The San Diego Air & Space Museum is a 501 (c) 3 non-profit, founded in 1961. The Museum is unique to the region and serves the public through its mission – to celebrate the history of aviation and space; to educate the public regarding science and aerospace technology; and to inspire innovation and achievement. The SDASM was the first aero-themed museum to be accredited by the American Association of Museums (1986), is an affiliate of the Smithsonian, and nationally recognized as one of the country’s premier aerospace museum.

Laguna Art Museum is the museum of California art. It collects, cares for, and exhibits works of art that were created by California artists or represent the life and history of the state. Unlike any other museum in the state, it collects California art and only California art, and ranges across all periods and styles, nineteenth-century to present-day. The mission of Laguna Art Museum is to be the premier museum of California art, financially stable and managed according to the highest professional standards—both an artistic destination and a relevant, respected center of culture for Laguna Beach. Laguna Art Museum believes that the artists of California have created works of the highest quality and significance. An artistic center throughout its history, Laguna Beach is a natural home for the premier museum of California art. Laguna Art Museum seeks to develop a permanent collection that represents the rich history of California art; stage serious exhibitions of high artistic quality that complement the collection; offer a robust education program for children, students, and adults alike; and serve the community as a cultural and social center. History The museum traces its origins to the Laguna Beach Art Association, formed by artists in 1918 and incorporated in 1920 with artist Edgar Payne as president. In 1929, following a successful fundraising drive headed by another early Laguna Beach painter, Anna Hills, they opened a grand, custom-built gallery designed by the well known Los Angeles architect Myron Hunt. This survives as the Steele Gallery within the present museum building. In 1972 it became the Laguna Beach Museum of Art. It changed its name to Laguna Art Museum in 1986 with the physical expansion that completed the building as it now stands. Today the museum showcases works from its collection, special exhibitions, and an array of events, including artist talks, concerts, family days, and more.

Since 2001 San Diego Children's Discovery Museum has been "inspiring children to learn about our world through exploration, imagination, and experimentation."​ Today we remain the only hands-on educational children's museum in North San Diego County, serving children ages 0-10 with interactive exhibits and programs focused on science, world cultures, and art. Our central location in Escondido allows us to serve children and families across San Diego County, as well as West Imperial County, and South Riverside and Orange Counties. Interactive experiences are a crucial element of learning. Our Museum features four focused program areas: Experimentation (science, math, engineering), Exploration (world cultures, history), Imagination (theater arts, visual arts, music), and Discovery (outdoor space featuring gardens, environmental science, world cultures, arts). All exhibits and programs are designed with the help of museum experts, educators, and childhood development specialists, ensuring a wide range of skill development and concepts that align with California’s Common Core curriculum for science, math, English language arts, visual and performing arts, and social science. Time spent at SDCDM develops crucial life skills like curiosity, confidence, and creativity, which are all qualities that strengthen children’s potential to excel in school, careers, communities, and as parents. We challenge children’s imagination and curiosity through interactive exhibits and hands-on programming. Through play, children have the opportunity for creative problem solving, critical thinking, and hands-on exploration and experimentation in a safe environment where there are no right or wrong answers.
