Alpha Chi is a coeducational academic honor society and a member of the Association of College Honor Societies. Since 1922 our purpose has been to promote academic excellence and exemplary character among college and university students and to honor those who achieve such distinction. We accept only students who place in the top ten percent of their class from all academic disciplines. With some 300 chapters, located in almost every state, the organization inducts approximately 10,000 members annually. Alpha Chi offers many grants, scholarships, fellowships, awards, and travel stipends to support undergraduate and graduate scholarship.

AR Kids Read is a high impact community service strategy which leverages volunteers to help children attain reading level proficiency by the end of third grade. We recruit volunteers who donate one hour a week for 20 weeks to work with students on reading. We are always looking for new volunteers, collaborators, partners, and donnors!
