Synergy, was founded as "Valley Oxygen"​ by Daniel Luna. He has been in the Durable Medical Equipment industry for over 20 years. As a Respiratory Therapist, Daniel has always understood the importance of patient care. So he set out with great ambition and a desire to provide a higher level of service and in 2004 founded Valley Oxygen in Bakersfield, CA. Valley Oxygen has continued to grow and has added new respiratory products like Noninvasive Ventilation, Cough Assist and Afflovest. With the addition of these new respiratory products, it was no longer Oxygen that was our focus. So we set out to create a name that would encompass all the services we provided. The name Synergy was born. As of 2020, Synergy has a total of 6 locations across California and Nevada. Our core products now include Overnight oximetry testing, End-Tidal CO2 Testing, Portable and Stationary Oxygen Concentrators, Ultra-Fill Concentrators, Oxygen Cylinders, Nebulizers, and Noninvasive Ventilation. Focus Employment Services is a community service agency that specializes in providing career counseling and placement services to people with disabilities. Focus is proud to work directly with the Veteran's Administration to provide transitional assistance to returning Veterans and assist them in achieving their post-service education or work goals. In addition, Focus accepts referrals for services from Magellan Health Services, and the Arizona Department of Economic Security, Vocational Rehabilitation. With offices in Phoenix and Tempe, Focus is able to provide an exceptionally high-caliber service to clients throughout Maricopa County.

Our Mission: Uniting communities to alleviate hunger United Food Bank (UFB) has received a 501(c)(3) designation from the Internal Revenue Service. United Food Bank is a private nonprofit that provides hunger relief and food assistance by collecting, acquiring, storing, and distributing food and related commodities through a network of partner social services agencies in our service area: Eastern Maricopa, Gila, Pinal, Southern Apache, Southern Navajo Counties. We are resource driven as well as need driven. We provide as many resources as possible through our best efforts, knowing there will be times when the need is greater than the available resources.
