In this role, I am responsible for providing strategic and tactical leadership when it pertains to matters of employee and labor relations at Medical West Hospital and 10 clinic locations. These locations are comprised of over 1,000 employees. My duties include recruitment of all exempt and non-exempt positions, designing and implementing effective and legally compliant HR policies, facilitating training and development resources, coordinating benefits and FMLA administration, providing compensation and salary direction, conducting workplace investigations, providing coaching to senior management and department directors, developing core management competencies, assisting in succession planning, and maintaining the performance appraisal system.
