Sugar Creek Country Club made its debut in 1972 as one of Houston’s premier member owned country clubs. At that time, the Club was established as a member owned club in a class apart from the developer or privately owned country clubs where the interest of the members are secondary to the interests of the owners. The club founders commissioned legendary golf course architect Robert Trent Jones to design and construct a championship golf course unparalleled in the region.
