LG Energy Solution Wrocław is Europe's largest producer of lithium-ion batteries for electric vehicles. The factory operates in Biskupice Podgórne, located south-west of Wrocław (Poland), employing more than 10,000 people.
The company - originally under the name of LG Chem Wrocław Energy - was established in 2016, when the construction of a battery factory also began. Battery production started in the second half of 2017.
