Founded in 1969 by Sam Shearer, CSE had its beginnings in servicing and repairing safety equipment for the coal mining industry. Sam, having an entrepreneurial spirit, decided that CSE should instead develop its own superior safety equipment.
CSE has grown from its repair roots to designing and manufacturing rugged safety products for industrial environments.
