Established in 1995, UPL was formed for the purpose of providing natural gas service to communities not served by Ohio's various utility companies. Through strategic business arrangements with natural gas cooperatives, local public utilities, local gas producers and interstate pipeline companies, UPL has successful brought service to rural communities, subdivisions, industrial/commercial developments as well as lake communities across Ohio, eastern Indiana, and western Pennsylvania.
