Developmental Preschool and Day Care Center provides complete child care services to all children from birth to nine years of age. The Center also provides developmental screening, hearing and vision screening, evaluation, special education, speech/language therapy, occupational and physical therapy, parent training and support, and service coordination to children with disabilities from birth to five years of age. We believe all children should receive a free developmental screening before the age of 2. Early treatment enables many children to overcome the effects of a disability and to reduce the need for services throughout life. The center coordinates with local day care centers and preschools to provide screenings and special education services for all children in the community. Founded in 1974 as Florida’s first runaway program, Youth Crisis Center has grown to one of the largest and best-known providers of services for youth and families. YCC's emphasis on care is for those who have been exposed to traumatic situations such as divorce, homelessness, relocation, loss of life, and abuse. YCC provides a variety of services for children, adolescents, young adults, and families.
