Philip Nicholas started Nicholas Law Offices in 1992. The firm's principal client, Mountain Cement Company had suffered a huge loss when its newly installed blend tank silo collapsed shortly after installation. Over the course of the next three years, Nicholas Law Offices prosecuted negligence and product liability claims against third parties inlcuding steel suppliers. The firm won a $6.49 million dollars jury verdict on behalf of Mountain Cement Company against a large national steel company; that judgment continues to stand as the largest verdict in Albany County, Wyoming. Over the years, our firm has grown and continues to grow. Our offices are comprised of four partners, including Philip Nicholas, Jason Tangeman, Mitch Edwards, and Julie Edwards, and associate, Stefanie Milam. Bob Leonard is of-counsel with our office. Although we continue to represent Mountain Cement Company, our client base has grown exponentially, and our practice includes representation in areas of general civil litigation, estate and tax planning, probate, appellate advocacy, corporate and commercial/business law, governmental law, administrative law, real property law, criminal law, and natural resources law. Our firm is located in Laramie, Wyoming and in the historic Charles E. Blair House located on the corner of 5th and Fremont Streets. The Blair House was built in 1912 and is recorded on the Wyoming Historic Preservation list.

BLACKBIRD, LLC
BLACKBIRD, LLC
Buffalo, Wyoming
100-499 employees
We are a design studio sprouted from the award winning menswear store Blackbird, first opened in 2004 in Seattle, WA. Blackbird gained international fame for introducing progressive, lesser-known brands that bridged the categories of fashion and lifestyle. Seeing success in retail, Blackbird created an in-house label starting with high quality American-made denim, and expanded over time to include a full apparel assortment, accessories, home goods, and apothecary products. The guiding spirit behind Blackbird is Nicole Miller, its founder and creative director, who has endowed it with a manifest soul, making Blackbird a brand that is loved followed across the world. Aided by a small-team of designers, manufacturers, and specialists, Nicole brought Blackbird to new heights in 2013 when she decided to focus on distributing the Blackbird brand internationally and shuttered her stores. Today Blackbird is known worldwide for its unconventional and remarkable fragrances and grooming products, although it still produces a small collection of apparel accessories. Blackbird continues to experiment with new and unusual materials, carefully breaking the rules to create unique covetable products for home and personal use.
