We only use the best cuts of premium Beef and Pork in our products and unlike larger corporate giants, our family uses no fillers or binders – just quality cuts of real, protein-packed meat. We then enrich the natural flavor of these meats with our family recipe of select spices to create a variety of sticks and sausages. Custom crafted in small batches, each product is naturally smoked for hours on end – giving them the rich smoky taste of real hardwood hickory. It is this same family recipe and hardwood smoking process that gives our snacks their rich color and texture. That is why, unlike other brands, we use only clear casings rather than colored casings on our snack sticks. So, when you’re on the go and your stomach needs a snack, Wenzel’s Farm is where you go. Country Fresh Meats has been a family owned business since 1980. Our business originated in Bevent, Wisconsin. It eventually grew to exceed the building’s capacity and it became apparent that we needed to build a new facility to accommodate product demand and to uphold product integrity. In 2005, Country Fresh Meats moved to its new location here in Weston, Wisconsin. We specialize in products that are Old World style, minimally processed, naturally smoked (with real wood chips, not liquid smoke), and stuffed into natural casings. We at Country Fresh Meats pride ourselves in the quality ingredients that we use in our products. In turn, this gives our customers the quality products they enjoy.
