Woodland Surgery Center was a joint venture with Franciscan Health Michigan City. While I was working in operations for our physician practices I was asked if i would take an interim role as Administrator due to my experience and certification. I was then promoted to the permanent Administrator position. The Surgery Center has 2 Operating Rooms and 2 Procedure rooms. They perform about 5,000 procedures annually. The facility employs 35 fte's. Woodland successfully passed all ISDOH inspections as well as Joint Commission.
