C.S. Graetz and Sons was the first official name given to Graetz Mfg., Inc. It was conceived by Edward Graetz and his father Clarence Graetz. Starting as a blacksmith shop, Edward and his father worked to make farm repairs for those in the community. After serving in the armed forces, Emmett Graetz also joined his brother and father to work at the business. From these roots the Company has continued to grow and flourish creating the first barn cleaner in the 1930’s. Products have continually been added to our Ag line such as, the silage unloader, the roller chain sprocket, etc. C.S. Graetz and Sons changed its name to Graetz Mfg., Inc. in 1959 when Loren and Harold Graetz came into the Company. To date, there are more than 1,000 piece-parts produced for industries all across the Nation!
