Conducted water sampling on 44 reservoirs in northern Wisconsin for water clarity, turbidity, pH, and dissolved oxygen using field instruments and GPS. Also collected samples for laboratory analysis.
Implemented progressive erosion control methods along high risk reservoir shorelines. Surveyed high water levels and collected biannual data on effectiveness of erosion control techniques.
Conducted Salix (Willow) clone experiments to determine the most effective species for shoreline stabilization in the reservoir environment characterized by both dry and saturated sandy soils in alternating frequency.
