For over 70 years, Miles Sand & Gravel has been supplying aggregates and ready-mix concrete to the Puget Sound area. The company has grown over the years and now supplies an extensive array of concrete and aggregate products, supported by our team of nearly 500 members, from the Canadian border to Chehalis. Miles Sand & Gravel Company, a 4th generation family owned business, started in Auburn, WA in the early 1940’s. The initial 18 acre site, located at the intersections of 12th & M Street SE, was expanded over the years as adjacent parcels became available. The corporate office was at this location until 2010 when the office operations were moved to Puyallup. Aggregate processing and the production of ready-mix concrete continued in Auburn through 2014. Miles Sand & Gravel has grown steadily over the years. In the 1970’s, Miles’ service area expanded into Snohomish, Skagit and Island counties when it acquired Concrete Nor’West. The Concrete Nor’West division of Miles Sand & Gravel is now simply known as Miles Sand & Gravel Company. At present, Miles Sand & Gravel operates facilities in nine western Washington counties – from the Canadian border to Chehalis. More than just a concrete company, Miles provides our customers with innovative solutions that helps build strong communities. From roads and bridges to commercial structures and residential applications, we have the expertise and experience to deliver products on time and on budget.
