Responsibilities: Facilitated parent grief support group sessions consisting of 8 to 15 adults. Session included ways for parents to help their child with grief, group discussion regarding any issues that affect their children's grief and time to gather themselves emotionally to reunite with their children. Interviewed and assigned volunteers to positions. Organization of the Corporation, the Board of Directors, and the office. Organized the office so that items could be found when needed. Separated the Corporation and Board of Directors files from the Grief Support Group files. Organized spreadsheets in Excel regarding volunteers, participants, and donors. Created donors list and supported the organization of the "Kids on the Catwalk" fundraising event. Recorded attendees Répondez s'il vous plait (RSVP) for the event in Excel. Answered donor questions by phone regarding the details of the event. Created publicity signs and brochures in Publisher to promote the event. Maintained reports to ensure that the event remained on budget and expenses were not exceeded and revenue goals were met or surpassed. Answered the Adam's Place phone and responded to Adam's Place emails and website request.
