When a Whatcom County youth opens the doors to any of our four Clubs, they are opening the door to their future. We provide programming for 3 targeted Priority Outcomes: Academic Success, Good Character & Citizenship and Healthy Lifestyles. Our Formula for Impact strives to leave a lasting, positive influence on the youth of this community. We appreciate the support of our Program Sponsors because they allow our Impact to continue to grow and reach more kids. Over 6,000 members a year access our Clubs and programs and with the help of 54 dedicated and caring staff and hundreds of generous volunteers we are able to create a lasting impact in their lives.

Rather than duplicating the traditional shelter philosophy of accepting every surrendered animal only to become overcrowded and forced to euthanize - we are taking a new approach. We assist animals in the most desperate need of help - the animals that have run out of time at other shelters and are facing death. By working cooperatively with area animal shelters and only accepting pets directly from their facilities, we give animals on death-row another chance at life at our no-kill adoption center.

We are a team of trusted and time-tested environmental advocates, educators and scientists. RE Sources gives people practical ways to make a real difference for the planet, from passing stronger laws that protect the environment and empowering youth voices, to holding corporate polluters accountable, reducing waste and our own carbon footprint.
