Since 1860, more than 85 million visitors have made George Washington’s Mount Vernon the most popular historic home in America. The National Archives Foundation is an independent nonprofit that increases public awareness of the National Archives, inspires a deeper appreciation of our country’s heritage, and encourages citizen engagement in our democracy. As the National Archives’ nonprofit partner, the Foundation generates financial and creative support for National Archives exhibitions, public programs, and educational initiatives, introducing America’s records to people around the U.S. and the world.

The United States Navy Memorial, located on America’s main street at 701 Pennsylvania Ave, NW, between the White House and the Capitol Building, is quickly becoming one of Washington’s premier destination locations with more than 110,000 visitors each year. It boasts a 230-person state-of-the-art theater frequently booked for Hollywood movie screenings and a 3,500 square-foot interactive exhibit space that immerses visitors in the rich heritage and culture of the Sea Services, making it a first-class venue for Navy ceremonies and private events. Outside the Visitors Center is a large plaza with a granite map of the world that serves as the stage for wreath laying ceremonies, Navy Band concerts, and outdoor film festivals, all featuring an unparalleled backdrop of the National Archives. Overlooking Memorial plaza is the original Lone Sailor statue, which has become an iconic, nationally renowned representation of American sailors, surrounded by fountains with water from the seven seas. The Trust for the National Mall is the nonprofit philanthropic partner of the National Park Service dedicated to restoring, preserving and enriching the National Mall, America's Front Yard. . We will succeed in this mission by: • Supporting the National Park Service as it undertakes the National Mall Plan, which will address park use, maintenance and facilities; • Raising the necessary funds to maintain, restore and improve the National Mall to serve as a world-class park befitting our great nation; • Connecting visitors to the National Mall's rich history; • Developing engaging programs and events that will educate and inspire current and future generations; • And funding an endowment to ensure the future maintenance and upkeep of the park.

AHF was established in 1983 as a member-based, charitable 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization. We seek to educate future Americans to fully appreciate the sacrifices that generations of American Soldiers have made to safeguard the freedoms of this nation. Our funding helps to refurbish historical Army buildings, acquire and conserve Army historical art and artifacts, support Army history educational programs, research, and publication of historical materials on the American Soldier, and provide support and counsel to private and governmental organizations committed to the same goals. Two different Memorandums of Agreement with the Army (2009 and 2015) designated AHF as the official fundraisers for the National Museum of the United States Army. The 2015 MOA also turned over the construction and completion of the design to AHF. The Capital Campaign is committed to raising $200 million to build the Museum

The Military Women's Memorial, located at the Ceremonial Entrance to Arlington National Cemetery, is a living memorial. We are dedicated to honoring and remembering the service of our military women, telling their individual stories and collective history to the public, in order to help empower the future generations. Dedicated on Oct. 18, 1997, the Memorial houses an exhibit gallery chronicling the history of women’s service, a theater, Hall of Honor, conference room, gift shop and an outdoor terrace and Court of Valor. The heart of the Memorial is the Register, an interactive database that includes the name, picture, service history and awards of nearly 245,000 past and present servicewomen.
