HIGHLAND MACHINERY CORPORATION
HIGHLAND MACHINERY CORPORATION
Oak Hill, West Virginia

Highland Machinery Corporation was founded in 1988 as a mining equipment rebuild facility. The management team had one basic concept in mind and that was to deliver a piece of rebuilt equipment to their customers that was as good as or better than the original manufactured item. We carefully considered other manufactures designs to determine areas of weakness and set out to make improvements. Through this process we began to design and manufacture our own brand of frames for shuttle cars, then battery powered scoops and later feeders. Each frame carried an unprecedented two year warranty, and it showed customers in the mining industry they could have faith in Highland's rebuilt equipment. We still rebuild and update machines with todays latest technologies and our superior frames. However, now we offer so much more to the industry. Highland began to manufacture their own brand name of completely new mining equipment and expanding their product line to include shuttle cars, feeder/breakers, battery powered scoops, and battery powered LHD's. We have had great success in the mining industry and now have a worldwide customer base. In 2022 Highland Machinery Corp. became Highland Industires. Highland Industries now offers much more, included the launch of Shield Mover product line, Oil and Gas Division, Engineering Services, and Field Services divisions. In today's market, profitability is becoming harder to maintain. We understand mining companies are looking for manufacturers who can provide good quality equipment, great service after the sale, competitive prices and warranties that dare to be better than industry standards. We strive to meet all these standards and at the same time offer the lowest maintenance cost and down time of any of our competitors.
