Brain Injury Services helps children and adults with a brain injury build the skills and confidence they need to lead a fulfilling and productive life. The organization was the first community-based brain injury case management program of its​ kind in Virginia. It was instrumental in providing guidance to other communities across the Commonwealth that now utilize this model program. In 2002, Brain Injury Services was awarded a Commonwealth Neurotrauma Initiative Grant to establish the first pediatric brain injury case management program.
