The mission of The Paramount Theater of Charlottesville, Inc., is to operate the restored and adapted historic Paramount Theater, located in downtown Charlottesville, Virginia, for the artistic, educational, and charitable benefit of its community, including the city of Charlottesville, Albemarle and surrounding counties, and the entire Central Virginia region.

My involvement includes reporting on trends in the field, interviewing key personnel, and raising awareness of the mission of the Mind & Life Institute.

Since 1971, the Virginia Center for the Creative Arts (VCCA) has provided uninterrupted time and space for artists to produce the finest works of literature, visual art, and music. VCCA hosts over 400 Fellows each year at two locations: Mt. San Angelo in the foothills of the Blue Ridge Mountains in Amherst, Virginia, and Le Moulin à Nef, in Auvillar France.

The Free Clinic of Central Virginia envisions a community where everyone has access to quality healthcare services. Our mission is to provide primary medical, dental, pharmacy, and health education services to those in Central Virginia who do not have the resources to obtain these basic healthcare services.
